Meeting Ramesses II

If I were to talk to one person in the world that is dead or alive it would have to be Ramesses II. If you couldn’t already guess, he’s dead. He was Egypt’s greatest Pharaoh and expanded its empire enormously. He leads many expeditions into Egypt’s neighboring countries to seize land that had once belonged to Egypt but was stolen due to the terrible leaders before him. He is also responsible for establishing the new city of Pi-Ramesses in the Nile delta that acted as the capital while he was Pharoh and go to the Ramesseum a temple he constructed. He is also known for becoming Prince Regent and is believed to have taken the throne in his late teens and is known to have ruled Egypt from 1279 BC to 1213 BC.

I would like to meet him because of these achievements in Egypt’s military campaigns and because of his other great achievements. I want to ask him about how it was like to rule an empire just in your teenage years. I would also like to discuss why he believed that it would be a good idea to move the nation’s capital. I would also enjoy addressing his military crusades and how he managed to win most of the battles he participated in. This discussion would probably take place in Pi-Ramesses possibly in a royal court.

One thing that would make this visit even more memorable would be to travel to his, greatest architectural achievements Abu Simbel. This temple was built to confirm that Ramesses was a good and it was an offering. In conclusion, I would appreciate meeting and talk with Egypt’s greatest Pharoh Ramesses II.

Ramesses II imitation.
